Prohibited targeting

Advertisers may never target members by ethnicity, race, health or HIV status, political affiliation, sexual behavior, kinks, safer-sex preferences, or the contents of private messages.

These fields are stripped from every audience at the system level, not just by policy.

Minimum audience size

Audiences must reach a minimum number of members before a campaign can run, so no campaign can be narrowed to identify an individual.

Creative standards

Ads must be accurate, clearly labeled and appropriate for an adult community platform.

We prohibit hate speech, harassment, discriminatory claims, deceptive health claims, illegal goods and content that sexualizes minors.

Member controls

Members may turn off ad personalization at any time in Settings, then Account. Ads still appear, but are not tailored to their activity.

Review and enforcement

Every campaign is reviewed before it runs. We may pause or remove any campaign that violates this policy, our Terms or our Community Guidelines.
